I am going nuts this week. Here's a blog post with two pictures. That's as eloquent as I can muster today. Which might be enough to get some of us through the day. I hope.
beautiful wildflowers, i'm sure it must be nice to walk in a whole field of wild flowers like your header and discover this beautiful flower, i love the deep purple and shocking yellow contrasts.
Love the vivid purple and the little flashes of green against the brown-and-grey of the rest of your landscape. Hope the rest of your week helps you find a little more sanity. :)
It's enough when it's such a richly colored Pulsatilla. I like how silky the buds feel. Mine passed all too quickly this year because of the unseasonable heat.
Benjamin - you post & pictures reminded me why I loved Pasque flowers. Mine didn't make it through the construction project - so I'll have to put it on my wish list this year. An early bloomer always gives me hope!
I would love to have this color Pasque flower in my garden! I will be on the look-out now. I currently have a deep wine colored group and a native grouping that has shades of pale blue and pink. They are all so lovely, and unusual - two things I adore in a plant :)

A welcome sight they are, even if your week is driving you 'round the bend.

What a beautiful Pasque Flower Benjamin.I love how the purple magenta right in the center of the yellow mirrors the petals. Beautiful picture.

Very beautiful!
What a beautiful color yours are! They are darker than mine.

Lovely deep purple color, definitely improves the color spectrum of any garden. ~bangchik
Every year I say I must plant more of them, and every year, I don't. Dreams are easier than the pain of ups and downs - getting up and down, that is.
