HA, let's imagine the cat green. No more white hair everwhere! In our case the hair is black and long, we could weave a rug with amount of hair that is left on every surface. We have a black leather couch, black background oriental rug, did you know that there are many shades of black? Your spring is coming soon!
Ok Frances, here's a story--when I was a kid we had this big black cat, BIG. He was more like a dog in size and attitude--was the guard dog of the house and hated people coming over, only liked "his" people. My grandma would often do her laundry at our house when she lived in an apartment. A few times she'd leave the dryer open, with some clothes still inside, and this cat would jump in and lay down on the clothes. When she came back to get the rest to fold, the cat would growl at her. He was harmless, but he was letting her know something important. Loved that cat.
In our house now, my wife and I have two cats that play / fight all the time, chasing each other. They create HUGE wads of "tumble fur" that drift across the carpet and wood floors. We can't vacuum enough!

It's beginning to look a lot like spring at your place! Love the cat picture.
I love winter, but am getting anxious--it's been cold and snowy, and March ain't over. I see your snow is about at the same stage as our in Nebraska!
I never thought of drying the cat that way!
Layanee--you should try it. I ALMOST turned the machine on just to see.... I would do that.
Well, Benjamin, GREEN is a good color! And at least the cat will stay fluffy.
Annie
I wish the cat were green....
