I Will Be a Hummingbird

Nobel Peace Prize winner Wangari Maathai's parable of the hummingbird--one little obstinant change can add up to inspire a billion of them, and before you know it BAM! we've done something good, and it wasn't as hard as we thought it would be. Whaddya know!

And God praise The Onion for this piece: 'How Bad for the Environment Can Throwing Away One Plastic Bottle Be?' 30 Million People Wonder.

I just saw this documentary on PBS the other day and the hummingbird story really resonated with me.

It is too late in the season for me to put this into practice, but remind me next spring that I wanted to be the hummingbird ok?

Woderful story - thanks for sharing it Benjamin.

I'm sorry I missed the documentary on PBS - sounds like something I'd have really enjoyed.
